Our Story
At Garden Route HE Massage & Spa, we honour the tradition of authentic Thai massage in a refined and private setting. Each treatment is delivered by experienced therapists trained in time-honoured techniques designed to restore balance, ease tension and renew your energy.
What began as a single treatment room in Knysna has grown into a small, close-knit practice serving four Garden Route towns. We have deliberately kept it that way — small enough that every guest is known, and every appointment is given the time it deserves.
Philosophy
Rest is not a luxury. It is maintenance.
We believe a massage should never feel rushed or transactional. Our therapists work slowly, read the body in front of them, and adjust as they go — because the same treatment rarely suits two people, or even the same person twice.

Traditional Thai massage follows the body's energy lines with rhythmic pressure, measured stretching and steady breath. It is a practice refined over centuries, and our therapists were taught it the traditional way — hands-on, from experienced teachers, over years rather than weeks.
Alongside it we offer gentler oil work and deeper therapeutic pressure, so the treatment can always be matched to how you arrive on the day.
